David McCarrick

Senior Portfolio Manager

David joined Castlehaven Finance in 2021 and has over twenty years’ experience in the banking sector. Prior to joining Castlehaven, he worked as a Senior Asset Manager with the National Asset Management Agency (NAMA) and spent three years as a Lending Manager with Home Building Finance Ireland (HBFI).

His experience includes the management of loans secured against a diverse range of international property assets, including the financing of large-scale apartment developments in London as well as residential schemes across Ireland.

As Senior Portfolio Manager at Castlehaven Finance, David is responsible for monitoring the progress of developments, conducting site visits, processing monthly drawdowns, implementing loan amendments, and managing day-to-day matters across the Castlehaven portfolio. He particularly enjoys developing strong professional relationships and takes satisfaction from being involved in the full lifecycle of a loan, supporting the delivery of much-needed housing supply to the Irish market.

Outside of work, David enjoys running, football and attending sporting events. He has completed the Dublin Marathon on four occasions and is actively involved with his local football club as a coach of junior teams.
